Summer Lecture Series: July 25, 2017 The Marriage of Ethics and Law in Physical Therapy Clinical Practice

July 25, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Marriage of Ethics and Law in Physical Therapy Clinical Practice

The relationship between ethical practice and legal practice is a close one, although like any relationship, there are areas of similarity and difference. This 2 hour lecture will explore these concepts in a realistic way using examples from the clinic and the courtroom. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to make sound ethical decisions while protecting themselves from successful malpractice lawsuits. Professional behavior and 21st century standards of care will be emphasized in a fun and interactive discussion.
