Please join us in congratulating the UD Physical Therapy students for being honored and recognized for their fundraising efforts for the 2014-2015 Miami-Marquette Challenge. The students were honored at the Foundation for Physical Therapy Gala during APTA’s NEXT Conference & Exposition, and received 3 honors:
- Award of Excellence
- Biggest Stretch Award
- Membership in the Philanthropy Circle-Cornerstone Society
The Marquette Challenge is the Foundation for Physical Therapy’s signature annual grassroots fundraising initiative carried out by PT and PTA students each year. Funds raised from this program provide research grants to emerging leaders who will study the effectiveness of physical therapy interventions. The funds are also allocated to the peer-review process which results in awarding of all Foundation scholarships and grants.
